Welcome to the Corkdork Privacy Policy. This document explains how Kindred, Inc. (owner and operator of Corkdork) collects, stores, uses, shares, and protects your information. This must be read along with the Corkdork Terms of Use Agreement. In this document, we refer to the company who owns and operates the mobile application and website (www.corkdork.app) for Corkdork as the “Company” or “We” and the mobile application, the website, and any related services as the “App” or “Service”. These may be used interchangeably. You, the user, will be referred to as “You” and the “User”, or collectively as “Users”.
By downloading and installing the App, you agree that and consent to the Company that it may collect, transfer, store, disclose, and use your information as described in the Policy. Kindred, Inc. is a United States-based company, and the third party services that the Company uses, including servers, are located, for the most part, in the United States. That being said, your data and information will pass through U.S.-based servers no matter where you are in the world, which may make you subject to U.S. data laws and protections, sometimes depending on your country’s own data laws and protections.
Please take the time to read the following carefully.
1. Information Collected
In order to use Corkdork, you must log in using your real first and last name/surname, a valid email address that you own, and a password of your choosing, a long as the password has a minimum of 7 characters; OR using the credentials as provided by your Apple ID and the 'Sign in with Apple' user authentication feature, which may include your first name, last name, and email address. Any active email address will suffice as long as you own it, but the Company recommends it be your primary email and one available on your mobile device for convenience.
The Company collects various types of information about you throughout the use of the App and across App sessions.
Your information and data, identifiable and non-identifiable, will be used, directly and indirectly, in conjunction with third party analytics tools and services to track and store all associated usage information of all users in order for the Company to continue to build and better its product and business practices. Those tools include:
Registration/Sign Up
When registering/signing up for a Corkdork account for the first time, you are required to sign in with your own real first and last/surname, an email address, and a password; OR using the credentials as provided by your Apple ID and the 'Sign in with Apple' user authentication feature, which may include your first name, last name, and email address.
Access to information and Content we ask for from your device on which the App is installed may include the ability to access your device’s current location while using the app and your device’s camera.
For email login, you may update your email address at any time in the Settings section of the App. You may also update your password, first name, and last name. Your birthday cannot be changed. You may sign out of or delete your account and personally identifiable information at any time directly from the Account section of the app or by contact us at [email protected].

Within the App itself, the Service collects information on:
Data Storage
Your data is stored using a third party server service provider managed by Google Cloud Services, located to the best of the Company’s knowledge and as of this writing, in the United States. The third party adheres to the best of its abilities to the industry standards in data protection. Please refer to the links provided in Section 1 for more details. By registering with the Company and creating an account, and thereby submitting any personal information, you agree to the transfer of your personal information to, and storage and processing of your personal information in, any such countries or destinations where you may access the Service, whether such countries provide laws for data protection or not.
The Company will protect your stored data to the best of its ability and in conjunction with its third party server service provider(s) and analytics services. You agree, understand, and consent that the Company cannot and will not be held liable or accountable in any way for the misuse, theft, leaking, destruction, tampering of, interception of, or in any way altering of this data, whether incidental, accidental, or intentional by the Company or any affiliated or non-affiliated third parties.
Log and Usage Data
The Service saves and stores log and usage data automatically. This information may include, but may not be limited to your IP address, your mobile carrier, your browser type, a referring domain, pages visited, an advertising identifier, and search terms. Interaction with the Service itself, including other users and third parties may also be included in Log and Usage Data.
Device information
The Service may collect identifying information about the device with which you access the Service, including your unique device identification number, device model, operating system, MAC address, and IP Address. With your expressed permission, the Service may also access your device’scamera and location. These settings can be managed in the Settings app on your device.
Account suspension, and information and data deletion
The company reserves the right to suspend or delete your account at any time for any reason. The User may also delete their account at any time for any reason. Certain non-identifiable information provided to the service by the User may be collected, stored, and maintained by the company even after the suspension or deletion of an account either by the User or the Company.
European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
In accordance with the EU’s GDPR and the Company’s position on data privacy and protection, the Company extends the right to all Corkdork users, in the EU or otherwise, to request to have their personally identifiable user information disabled or deleted at any time. A request must be provided in written form sent to [email protected], and include the User’s name and email address. The User may also take this action within the Service in the Account section. Personally identifiable information deletion strictly consists of permanently deleting only personally identifiable information contained in the User’s account and profile. The Company reserves the right to maintain possession of account creation credentials, at its discretion, for an unlimited period of time and without obligation to the User for the sole purpose of protecting the Service from misuse and abuse. All other information created and/or submitted to the Service is considered non-identifiable and may or may not be deleted at the Company’s discretion. Modifications to User data at the request of the User can take up to 72 hours. In further accordance with the GDPR, any Corkdork user may contact the Company at anytime to inquire about how their data is being used. The Company is committed to complete transparency. Any User has the right to withdraw consent to usage of their data at any time. Doing so, however, will result in immediate account deletion by the Company. The Company does not sell or share any identifiable User data with any outside third parties for the purposes of advertising, marketing, research, development, or otherwise. The Company uses this data internally strictly for the purpose of bettering its product and business practices. Please note that the website www.corkdork.app does not use any third-party cookies other than those made non-optional by the site host and deemed necessary for the site to function.
Despite suspending or deleting your account at any time, whether requested by the User or initiated by the Company, all terms of the Terms of Use Agreement and this Privacy Policy survive such suspension or deletion and continue in full force and effect, except for terms that expire based on their nature or which become fully satisfied.
If the Company has sufficiently determined that the User has engaged in any sort of destructive activity of the Service, platform, or any related properties, or are in any other violation of the Terms of Use or Privacy Policy, the Company reserves the right to maintain possession of certain account information in order to prohibit the violating User from future access to the Service, and/or, if necessary, contact law enforcement. Please refer to the Terms of Use for more information.
California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)
In accordance with the California’s CCPA and the Company’s position on data privacy and protection, the Company extends the right to all Corkdork users, residents of California or otherwise, to request to have their personally identifiable user information disabled or deleted at any time. A request must be provided in written form sent to [email protected], and include the User’s name and email address. The User may also take this action within the Service in the Account section. Personally identifiable information deletion strictly consists of permanently deleting only personally identifiable information contained in the User’s account and profile. 2. Use of Information
We use the information that you provide to the Service primarily to build, expand, and improve the Service. Your profile/account/registration information is the way in which you identify yourself to the Service. Information and the data that you add to the service is/are aggregated and utilized depending on which features it pertains to. This information is both identifying and non-identifying. This allows the Company to identify the users contributing to the Service.
As mentioned, your information and data, identifiable and non-identifiable, will be used, directly and indirectly, in conjunction with third party analytics tools and services to track all associated usage information of all users in order for the Company to better its business practices.
3. Disclosure of Information
The company will never disclose your registration or account information to other users of the Service other than the information that is made available to the Service’s users and community by you. More sensitive information will be kept private EXCEPT under the following conditions:
Any data or information provided by the User to the Service that becomes otherwise visible to other users of the Service does not include personally identifiable account information (first name, last name, birthday, email, password, exact location) and is anonymized and visible only in anonymous, statistical, generalized, and non-identifiable form.
4. Who can access your information
You may access all of your personal account information with via Account screen of the Service, apart from your log, usage, and session data. Only you have access to your personally identifiable information.
5. Modifying your registration and personally identifiable information (PII)
You may modify your registration information in the Account section.
To ensure and protect the integrity of Corkdork and in order to avoid any abuse or misuse of the Service, the Company reserves the right to maintain possession of certain identifying information in order to prevent users in violation of the Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy, or any laws and regulations, from re-creating accounts on the Service.
6. Security
We take security incredibly seriously. The Company and its third party service providers apply industry standard techniques and take the most commercially reasonable measures to protect your data and information. That being said, nothing is completely secure, especially when being transmitted over the Internet. You may take great steps to protect yourself by logging out of your account after each session and not sharing your login credentials.
The Company, its owners, agents, officers, investors, employees, affiliates, and third party partners shall not be held liable or accountable in any way for the accidental dissemination of your personally identifiable information.
7. Third Parties
The Company is not required in any way to disclose any personal information relating to users of the Service.
8. Your Rights
The Company is ready and willing to provide information to anyone who asks for it regarding our practices of disclosing personal information.
You may request to have you personally identifiable information deleted from the Service at anytime.
Again, to ensure and protect the integrity of Corkdork and in order to avoid any abuse or misuse of the Service, the Company reserves the right to maintain possession of certain information in order to prevent users in violation of the Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy, or any laws and regulations, from re-creating accounts on the Service.

Regarding DO NOT TRACK (DNT) Signals – The company does not track your online activities over time and across different online services when you use the Service.
9. Changes to this Policy
The Company reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time for any reason. The Company will always use the most current Privacy Policy to govern its practices. The Company may announce changes to this Agreement via Push Notification, MMS, SMS, Email, standard mail, social media, the App Store, Google Play, and/or via updates to the Service. You agree, understand, acknowledge and consent fully and completely that you willingly and knowingly may and will receive messages and correspondence from the Company about the Service and related matters, and have taken the appropriate steps to maintain all channels of communication such that you may receive such update notifications.
10. Final
This Privacy Policy is governed by the State of California. Please refer to the Terms of Use Agreement Section 24 regarding governing law. Kindred, Inc. is a California S-Corporation. Should any part of this Privacy Policy be deemed void or invalid for any reason, the rest shall and continue to remain fully enforceable.

- Bankruptcy, mergers, acquisition, reorganizations, sale of assets are all instances in which your information may be sold or transferred
Any data or information provided by the User to the Service that becomes otherwise visible to other users of the Service does not include personally identifiable account information (first name, last name, birthday, email, password, exact location) and is anonymized and visible only in anonymous, statistical, generalized, and non-identifiable form.
